<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">Hudson, SD: Mark Allen Sohl, 45, of Hudson, South Dakota, died Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at his home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 1, at 10:30 AM at Hudson Lutheran Church with Rev. Kevin Jensen officiating. Burial will follow at Eden Cemetery of Hudson. Public viewing, with no family present, will be held Monday, August 31, from 4:00-7:30 PM at Hudson Lutheran Church. Porter Funeral Home of Hudson is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">&nbsp;&nbsp; Mark Allen Sohl, son of Dwayne and Elizabeth &ldquo;Betty&rdquo; (Anderson) Sohl, was born May 23, 1975 at Sibley, Iowa. Mark grew up in the Hudson, South Dakota area. He attended school at Hudson and eventually Alcester-Hudson after the schools consolidated. During his grade school days Mark enjoyed helping his dad and brother, Brian, with construction projects. After school he worked a few different places but found his niche working for Agropur in Hull, Iowa. He worked in the waste management division at the cheese factory. He enjoyed his work and the many friends he made at Agropur.</span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">&nbsp;&nbsp; Mark enjoyed camping and fishing. He could often be found socializing and helping friends or tinkering with cars. He loved working on Chevy&rsquo;s most, but he also kept busy working on many different projects. Mark was a collector and he had quite the variety. He collected comic books</span></span><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">, Zippo lighters, Bobbleheads, and many other things over the years.</span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">&nbsp;&nbsp; Mark is survived by his mother, Betty of Hudson; three siblings, Marla (Joel) Kickland, Brian (Vicki) Sohl, and Sherry (Chuck) Boyer, all of Hudson; five nieces; 1 nephew; and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Dwayne; maternal grandparents; and paternal grandparents. &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span></p>
