Doreen Ludwig

1936 – 2020

 

Mrs. Doreen Ludwig of Edson, beloved wife of the late Mr. Frank Ludwig, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the age of 83 years.

Doreen was born November 26, 1936 in Pendergast, Saskatchewan to Charlie and Kathrine Pambrun. She had 11 siblings: Louise, Peter, Noella, Charles, Norman, Alice, Marie, Flora, Raymond, Marlene and Billy. Doreen and Frank married May 19, 1958 in Edson.

Doreen will be lovingly remembered by her children Dean (Sue) Ludwig, Charles Ludwig, Jeff Ludwig, Shelley (Brian) Rechner, and Nicole (Alex Leonard) Ludwig; grandchildren Richelle (Nelson Lehner) Ludwig, Brittany (Rodney) Vida, Ashtyn (Ryan Kaban) Ludwig, Jess (Tanya) Ludwig, Chantel (Josh Kinch) Paul, Dea (Adam) Gustum, Autumn Ludwig, Cole (Cassandra Freeborn) Rechner, Dorrie Rechner, Paris (Aiden Thompson) Ludwig; great-grandchildren River Ludwig and Lachlan Gustum; siblings Noella Hoglin, Charles (Beatrice) Pambrun, Alice (Jim) Bushner, Raymond (Shirley) Pambrun, Flora (Vern) Pawliw, Marie Ludwig, Marlene Pambrun and Billy Pambrun; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Besides her loving husband Frank Ludwig, Doreen was predeceased by her son Larry Ludwig; parents Charles and Kathrine Pambrun; and siblings Norman, Peter and Louise Pambrun.
