Donna "Toosmall" Mancheese-Houle

It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, wife, sister, sister-in-law, grandma, godmother, aunt and friend.

Donna Ann Marie (Toosmall) Mancheese Houle was born October 16, 1973 in Winnipeg, MB and passed away August 19, 2020 at the Ste. Rose Hospital at the age of 46 years, with her family by her side.

Donna was Predeceased by her brother Brian (Jap); her sister Rita Marie Breena (Toofy) Campbell; her mother Ida Mancheese; father Donald Thompson; her grandparents Louie and Marie Thompson; Willie Mancheese, Delia Mancheese, Rita Mancheese.

Donna leaves to mourn her passing and cherish many fond memories, her husband Allan Houle Sr; her children Christine (Percy), Allan Jr. (Montana), Shawn (Vanessa), Chase (Layla); 6 grandchildren; special niece Leah; her sisters Treasure (Marcel), Lisa, Sonia, Sharla; Her brother Jeffrey; mother-in-law Dorthey; sisters-in-law Caroline (Mark), Robyn, Debbie (Louie), Cynthia; numerous nieces and nephews; her special friend Crissy Bone.

Donna lived in Ebb and Flow all her life.  Her life revolved around her husband , family and friends.  Donna was employed at the Ebb and Flow VLT's and Ebb and Flow General Store up until she was diagnosed with cancer.

Donna lived a humble and modest life and loved attending events in the community.  She would always be seen at the arena even during her time of sickness.  She has a special bond with her friend Carol (Chimese) Flett, they always talked about their cancer and supported each other.  She was very sad when Carol passed away.  Toosmall would always greet everyone with a good morning and goodnight on Facebook, that was her daily ritual.

Donna loved playing baseball, she was on our community baseball team, "The Razz" up until her sickness.  Donna loved taking her son Chase to his hockey games she travelled with her friend Nancy who's son also played hockey together with Sandy Bay.

Donna (Toosmall) was diagnosed with brain cancer July 2018 and fought it courageously until the end.  Donna never complained she just wanted to live her life to the fullest, her husband and family supported that.  She will be greatly missed.

Prayer Service & Wake were offered on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 7:00 pm from Allan Houle Residence - 253 Central, Ebb and Flow First Nation.

Funeral Service  was held on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 1:00 pm from Allan Houle Residence - 253 Central, Ebb and Flow First Nation  with Fr. Jorge Mante officiating. Interment followed in Ebb & Flow First Nations Cemetery in Ebb & Flow, MB.  Pallbearers were Wallace Roulette, Allen Jr Houle, Shawn Houle, Jeremy Desjarlais, Brian Houle, Tyrone Desjarlais, Shaunda  Flett, Linda Racette.
