Cecile Frances Wooten Coolidge, Arizona Obituary

Cecile Frances Wooten

It is with great sadness that the family of Cecile Wooten announces her passing on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at the age of 86. Cecile was born to the late Mamie Lee Wooten and J.C. Wooten in Clarksville, Texas on March 23, 1934. She was an excellent student and having always had a heart for nurturing and caring for others, planned to become a nurse. However, after moving to Randolph in 1954 with her family, she lived out her passion while working as a Habilitation Tech at the Arizona Training Center. After 30+ years of service, Cecile retired and enjoyed spending time reading her Bible, writing short stories, working in her garden, cooking, sewing, watching Perry Mason and Law & Order, drinking green tea, eating tuna subs from Subway and taking shopping trips to Big Lots. A faithful servant of God, Cecile attended St. Paul Church of God in Christ and frequently visited God Way Ministries. Cecile will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters, Vickie Gholston and Sonia Muldrow of Randolph, and Kathy (Stephen) Green of Clearfield, Utah; five sons, Will, Kyle, and James Muldrow all of Randolph, Mark Muldrow of Tucson, and Gregory (Ethel) Muldrow of Florence; a sister Rita Wooten of Randolph; 30 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Cecile was preceded in death by a son Patrick Muldrow, a daughter Debra Muldrow, a grandson Mark Muldrow Jr., two brothers Charlie and James Wooten and two sisters Betty Clayton and Clara Mathis. Granny, although the world charges from year to year and our lives from day to day, the love and memory of you will never pass away. We love you.
