JUDITH ANN SCHAFFNER

<p>A funeral service for Judith Ann &ldquo;Judy&rdquo; Schaffner, 79, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the Impact Ministries with Pastor Shirley Keil officiating.&nbsp; She will be buried in Wheatland, Wyoming and Bayard, Nebraska.</p> <p>Judy Schaffner gained her angel wings on Friday, August 21, 2020 at the Douglas Care Center in Douglas, Wyoming surrounded by her family.&nbsp;</p> <p>Judy was born on Sunday, February 23, 1941 in Torrington, Wyoming the daughter of Ted and Hazel (Jones) Schaffner.</p> <p>In 1957 she married her first husband Charles Williams Sr and to this union they had eight children.&nbsp; Twins Janet and Jane, Leilani &ldquo;Loni&rdquo;, Charles Jr. &ldquo;Chucky&rdquo;, Raymond, Terri, and twins, LaDonna &ldquo;Donna&rdquo; and LaDenna &ldquo;Denna&rdquo;.&nbsp; After parting ways with Charles, she met Elmer Taylor and married him in 1987.&nbsp; During this time, she lived in Bullhead City, Arizona and was a cook at the Harrahs Casino and Flamingo Casino in nearby Laughin, Nevada.&nbsp; Judy also had many other jobs over the years including working as a certified nurses assistant, a clerk, and as a waitress.&nbsp; Judy had many hobbies and passions some of which included collecting dolls, bells, and butterflies as well as her favorite activities of playing bingo, watching her favorite soap opera Days of our Lives, and watching wrestling which really got her riled up.&nbsp; Judy liked to help whoever she could in whatever was needed.&nbsp;</p> <p>She is preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Hazel Schaffner; brother, Ervin Schaffner; and sisters, Neioma Wheatley, Myrtle Hamilton, Virginia Miskimins, Roberta Laflower; daughters, Janet, Jane, and Leilani; son, Raymond; and many other family members and friends.</p> <p>She is survived by her sister, Wyona Runyan of Bullhead City, Arizona; brother, Norman (Judy) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; son, Charles (Valerie) Williams Jr. of Wheatland and their children, Shalako (Haley) Williams of Wheatland, Saharazon &ldquo;Sandy&rdquo; Flake of Casper, Wyoming; daughter, Terri (Wade) Yeadon of Casper, Wyoming and their children, Philadelphia &ldquo;Philly&rdquo; Yeadon and grandchildren, Roger and Lane Nix all of Wheatland; Ann (Clint) Yeadon-Zimmerle, and grandchildren, Jerica, Ruger, and Rory McCoy; and Trinity Zimmerle of Glenrock, Wyoming, and Nathaniel &ldquo;Nate&rdquo; Yeadon of Capser; daughter, Donna (Ron) Fowler of Wheatland; daughter, Denna (Earl) Sims of Wheatland and children, Ervin (Brittany) Stofflet and grandchildren, Shailee Jenkins and Jaxson Stofflet all of Wheatland; Aaron, Hazel, and Joseph Kuykendall of Elkhart, Indiana; and Leilani&rsquo;s children, Krystal Oaks and grandchildren, Kaylee, Kevin, and Kameron Miller all of Conway, Arkansas; and David Thompson of Spring, Texas; and Kenneth (Nickole) Williams of Wheatland.</p> <p>Judy was beloved by many wherever she went.</p> <p>A memorial to the Judith Schaffner Family in care of Gorman Funeral Homes, P.O. Judy Schaffner gained her angel wings on Friday, August 21, 2020 at the Douglas Care Center in Douglas, Wyoming surrounded by her family.
