Betty Hayes Wright Teague, 69, of Lawrenceville, NJ departed this life on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Capital Health - Hopewell Campus. Betty was born in Trenton, New Jersey and was a lifelong resident. She was educated in the Trenton Public School System. Betty worked as a Nurse’s Aide at various nursing homes including Mercer County Geriatric Center (now Hamilton Grove) and Hamilton Continuing Care. She also worked as a Home Health Aide. She was a longtime member of The Church of Christ in Trenton, where Brother Clarence Matthews is pastor. She was predeceased by her ex-husband, Robert Teague; daughter, Sonya Denise Milton; and brother, Willie Hayes. She leaves to cherish precious memories her son, Robert Hayes; daughters, Tonya Dessein and Darlene Hayes; grandchildren, Yolanda Hayes, Rasheeda Milton, Irvin Hayes, Dwight McEwen, Joseph Whittle, Chauncey Dessein, Giovanna Dessein, Shanequa George, Kaysani George, Stefonie Rodriguez, and Taquilla Randolph; great grandchildren, DaQuan Hayes, Zaire Hayes, Arianna Hayes, K’mya Hayes, and Irvin Hayes Jr.; brother, Charles Hayes; sister, Linda Nazzare; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
