Sylvia Kathleen Chance
Sylvia Kathleen Chance, 86, of Sheridan, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020. She was born July 5, 1934 in Carthage, Mississippi to the late Erby and Lodean Blocker Stuart. Kathleen was raised in Mississippi, then moved to Arkansas in 1959. She spent her life working as a waitress and restaurant manager. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Veron Chance; and brother Erby Stuart. Survivors include her children, Ronnie Stuart, Sissy Chandler, Charles Wayne Chandler, Leslie Stewart Chandler and Sylvia Diane Vance; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Graveside Services will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Nile Church of Christ in Kosciusko, Mississippi. Burial will be in Nile Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church immediately following the graveside service. Culpepper Funeral Home of Kosciusko, Mississippi in charge of arrangements.
