Chet Sneed Obituary

He will be so missed… Chet O’Dell Sneed passed August 11, 2020, due to a tragic accident. A celebration of life will be held on August 29 at Mountain View Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with a reception at Pam and Mike Suta’s, 402 Fourth Ave. NE, Cut Bank. Please come and celebrate Chet’s life with us.

Chet was born on Christmas Day, 1963, to Le and Suzie Sneed, here in Cut Bank. Chet was one-of-a-kind, lived life fully, even though he suffered from Chrohn’s disease for his whole life. He traveled far and wide with his mom and dad while they played music, until school demanded he “settle down.”

Chet was always ready to help a friend or his family with anything they needed. His greatest joy was driving his car around to see if anyone needed him, or helping his brother, Salty, set up to play music.

Chet had one child, Suzie Reneé Sneed, of Idaho, who he loved dearly, but he called many his daughter or son, as he just loved people.

Chet is survived by his mother, Suzie Sneed; brother, Leslie "Salty" Sneed and Misty; nephews, Tyler and Brett; nieces, Stormy and Alisha; and uncle, Danny Sneed, and family.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Leslie Sneed; brother, Lesley Michael; both sets of grandparents, Don and Iva Sneed, Les and Alfreda Connolly; wife, Shari Veenstra Sneed; and uncle, Donnie Sneed.

We are so going to miss Chet and pray the angels carry him straight to heaven and our Lord, Jesus Christ.
