<p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late MARTHA M. PEVIE of Rushoon announces her passing at her home in Rushoon on Sunday, August 23rd, 2020 at the age of 88. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her sons, John Pevie (Glenda) of Rushoon, Chris Pevie (Kim) of Rushoon, Brendan Pevie (Yolanda Taylor) of Toronto, ON, and Gord Pevie (Annie Power) of Rushoon; daughters, Patricia Norman of Rushoon, Deborah Norman (Mike) of Rushoon, Janet Pardy of Rushoon, and Bonnie Bennett (Carl) of Rushoon; brother, James Lake (Martha) of Rushoon; 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Martha is predeceased by her husband, Benjamin Pevie; parents, Archibald &amp; Mary Jo Lake; sisters, Matilda Hynes, Margaret Healey, Anne Barron, Carmel Lake, and Elizabeth Lake; and brothers, William, Edward and Ambrose Lake.</p><p><br></p><p>The Pevie Family will accept visitors at Christ The King Roman Catholic Church, Rushoon. In order to maintain social distancing and to follow the public health advisory of COVID 19, a walk through visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 26th and Thursday, August 27th from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. A maximum of 10 people at any one time permitted. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ The King Roman Catholic Church, Rushoon on Friday, August 28th, 2020 at 10:30 am.
