Jeanette Diane Town, 62, a resident of Westlake, LA, passed from this life on August 20, 2020, in the comfort of her home. “Mama Jette,” as she was known by all, was a free spirit and lived her life on her own terms. She was a loving mother, sister, and adoring grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and watching crime shows on TV. Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Day Ward and Delores Hardesty; husband, Darrel Town, Sr. sister, Randy. She is survived by her four children; Theresa “ Bella’ Thibodeaux, Ernest Town, Janessa Town, and Jaimie Miller and husband Donavon; grandchildren: Brianna, Briley, Brittany, Chevy, Bay’lei, Jack, Alyssa, Isabella, Leah, and Gracie; great-grandson, Lucas Holloway; sisters, Rhonda; brother, Robert. In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Town will be cremated, and a private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
