Derrick Richard Singer

Singer, Derrick Richard Derrick Richard Singer, survived by the love of his life, Lynn Mills, passed suddenly on Monday, August 17th, 2020 at the age of 42. Born in Miramichi, New Brunswick on May 8th, 1978, he was the son of Judy McCormack (Matchett) and Brian Singer. Derrick worked in Alberta for many years as a journeyman and enjoyed spending time with his West Coast friends and family. He had a love for the great outdoors whether it was fishing, four wheeling, farming or gardening. He was also an amazing cook. He is survived by his best friend and sister, Lindsay Singer; his three beautiful children, Kammirron Patterson, Zakery Singer and Hailey Singer, who were his pride and joy. He is also survived by his maternal Grandmother, Veronica Matchett and paternal Grandparents, Blair and Nora Singer. Along with many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and his four-legged best friend, Sock. A Funeral Service will take place at Little Southwest Baptist Church in Silliker’s, New Brunswick with Pastor Leslie Somers officiating August 29, 2020 at 2:00 pm. A Graveside Service will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Derrick’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of one’s choice.
