Jackie Dewayne Clinton, 78, passed away on August 19, 2020. Jackie was born on March 5, 1942 in Howell County, Missouri, to Lester and Naomi Clinton. He graduated from Willow Springs High School in the class of 1959, where he was the president of the FFA. He then went on to the United States Air Force, where he proudly served for four years as military police. In 1961, he married Charlene Glenda Ayers and two children were born to this union: Darren and Tonya. Jackie was a gas line supervisor and worked for MO Gas company for 39 years. He was also a loving husband, father who had a passion for gardening, especially tomatoes and cucumbers. Jackie was such a content man who was always happy to be at home with family. He loved reading the paper, watching the news and he will be dearly missed. Jackie is survived by his children, Darren and wife Wrae Kincade-Clinton and Tonya Clinton; sister Sharon Bloomer, brother John Clinton; seven grandchildren, Jon, Justin, Teya, Hannah, Tyler, Harrison and Sage and nine great-grandchildren, Shaylynn, Raymond, Alexis, Christian, Jessica, Gabe, Quinn, Kyson and Aurora. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Charlene Clinton; brother Junior Clinton; sister Susie Wallace and parents Lester and Naomi Clinton.
