Patricia Ann (Michel) Hall, 87, of Farragut, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday morning, August 18, 2020 at the Perry Lutheran Home in Perry, Iowa.  

Patricia Ann (Michel) Hall was born on May 2, 1933 at the Hand Hospital in Shenandoah, IA and graduated to heaven at Perry Lutheran Home in Perry, IA on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at the age of 87 years, 3 months, 16 days. Patricia was the daughter of Harry and Hazel Michel of Northboro, IA. She received her education at Hillsdale Country School until eighth grade and graduated from Farragut Community High School in 1950.

On November 26, 1949 she married Harold Eugene Hall at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Northboro, IA. To this union was born six children: Pam, Kathy, Caryl, Marcia, Shane, and David. Harold was a loving father and husband who was taken from the family too soon in a construction accident in 1961. Additional unions in marriage included: James E. Scott (1972-1975), Gary Allen Forbes (1977-1983), and Walter Jefferson Blauer (1986-1995).

For over 50 years, Patricia shared her love for health and wellness through her business “Helping Others”. She gave her life to Jesus and had a passion for sharing her faith with everyone around her. She enjoyed gardening, riding horses, playing piano and singing, playing her favorite card game, Rook, and serving the community. Above all else, she loved her family and sharing the love of Jesus with them.

Preceding Patricia in death were her parents, Harry and Hazel Michel; husband, Harold Hall; husband, Gary Forbes; daughter, Kathy Hall; son, Shane Hall; grandson, Wes Hall; sister, Yvonne Meskimen; brother, Donnie Michel; brothers-in-law, Delbert Tritsch, John Gilbert, Lee Meskimen.

She is survived by her four children: Pam Hansen of Lincoln, NE, Caryl (Don) Leslie of Perry, IA, Marcia (Darwin) Fichter of Farragut, IA, David (Kathy) Hall of Farragut, IA; thirteen grandchildren: Dyana (Clint) Anderson, Liz (Johnny) Filger, Dawnette Leslie, Chris (Jessica) Leslie, Laura Hansen, Nate (Traci) Fichter, Dan (Emily) Leslie, Megan (Eric) Nelson, Janelle (Bob) Carlson, Jacque (Blair) Dickinson, Nick Hansen, Curtis (Candace) Leslie, Ben (Chelsey) Hall; twenty-eight great grandchildren: Kaleigh (Brodie) Aden, Kenzi Hoyle, Courtney Leslie, Lillie Filger, J.P. Filger, Cooper Leslie, Sycily Hall, Taylor Leslie, Lauren Hansen, Joe Fichter, Sophia Hansen, Jenna Hall, Paisley Leslie, Sander Nelson, Gavin Leslie, Ava Fichter, Owen Carlson, Brendan Leslie, Jude Fichter, Connor Hansen, Eli Nelson, Maddox Leslie, Blake Carlson, Cade Leslie, Alyvia Dickinson, Madelyn Nelson, Brenna Leslie, Brynn Carlson; three sisters: Sharon Gilbert, Gwen (Ray) Markut, Gayle (Gary) Moody; sister-in-law: Karen Michel; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 2:00 pm at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, rural Northboro with Pastor Kurt Hoover officiating.  There will be open viewing and visitation Friday, August 28, 2020 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Nishna Valley Funeral Home (the family will not be present).  Memorials in Patricia's name are being directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.  Burial will be in the Farragut Cemetery.  Following the services everyone is invited to join the family at Marcia Fichter's residence for fellowship and early supper.
