Patsy Jane Lawrence, 84, of Springfield, passed away quietly at home after a long illness on August 18, 2020. She was born in Baxter County, Arkansas, the daughter of Harvey Aylor McGowan and Beulah Ada (Pruitt) McGowan on July 12, 1936. She graduated from Flippin, Arkansas High School. Patsy worked in banking and data processing, and completed her career with over 25 years as a well-loved and respected dispatcher at Federal Express package delivery service. Patsy was a popular fan the last few years on Springfield’s live music scene, and she loving walking, when she could, and then sitting beside many of the Ozark Greenways trails.
