It is with deep sorrow that the family of the late Clara Frances Haas announces her passing. Clara passed peacefully away at her family home in Brent’s Cove, NL on Wednesday, August 19th, 2020 at the age of 81 years. Predeceased by her husband - Thomas Haas (2011); parents - Michael & Suzanna Sullivan; sister - Shirley Sullivan; infant brothers - Benedict and David Sullivan and siblings-in-law - Agnes Mass (Peter), John T. Haas, Josephine Butler, Rose Haas, William Haas, Elizabeth Sullivan (Ronald), George Haas, Donald Haas, Michael Haas, Daniel Haas, Edward Haas, James Haas and David Clance. Left with many fond and loving memories are her children - Sharon Parsons (Sean), Fort McMurray, AB, Gerard Haas (Debbie), Milltown, NL, David Haas (Violet), Harbour Round, NL, Neil Haas (Wendy), Fort McMurray, AB, Jackie Hicks (Philip), Corner Brook, NL, Wayne Haas (Melanie), Rivers, MB, Jerome Haas (Caroline), Martinsville, SK, Douglas Haas, Bowen Island, BC, Maureen Czajkowki (Victor), Cambridge, ON, Blaine Haas, Kitchener, ON, Damien Haas, Brent’s Cove, NL and Darren Haas (Jessica), Fort McMurray, AB; grandchildren - Michael, Melanie, Stephanie, Grace, Thomas, Daniel, Samantha, Nicole, Noelle, Shane, Sheldon, Terri-Noel, Erica, Jordan, Joshua, Alina, Randi, Mitchell, Leland, Natasha, Troy and Alexander; a large circle of great grandchildren; sister - Mildred Clance; siblings-in-law - Bertha Haas, Betty Haas, Patsy Haas and Margaret Haas and special nieces and nephew - Darlene Sullivan, Joshua and Amy as well as a large circles of other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Due to the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, the Public Health Advisory and associated restrictions, we regret to announce that there will be no Public Visitation. Father Camillus Ekedobe conducted a Private Family Funeral Mass at St. John the Apostle, Roman Catholic Church, Brent’s Cove, NL. Interment followed at St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Cemetery. We encourage extended family and friends to share condolences, memories and/or photos to Clara’s memorial wall, available on our website.
