Robert Ensor Crowe, Jr., age 55, passed away unexpectedly in an accident on August 14,

2020. He was born on June 26, 1965 in Rockland, Maine to Robert E. Crowe, Sr. and Alice M.

Beal Crowe.

Robert grew up in Rockland and attended local schools in Rockland. He was very proud

of attending Hyde School. He began working with his father in the 1980’s and 1990’s

with Marine Hydraulics Engineering Company in Rockland. He also worked as a

lobsterman in Rockport.

He enjoyed 4-wheeling, snowboarding and the outdoor. He was mechanically inclined

with the ability to fix things. He was a character and had a great sense of humor, played

the guitar, he was goofy, fun and just a “very funny big kid at heart”.

Robert was predeceased by his mother, Alice Crowe. He is survived by his father Robert

E. Crowe, Sr. and his wife Berta of Texas, son Jackson Reed of Friendship, his daughter

Kaylin Reed of Friendship, son Wyatt “Rhobbie” LaPanne of Rockland, sister Teresa “Allison”

Crowe of Rockland, sister Sasha Crowe of Germany, niece Savannah Pettee of Rockland,

nephews Samuel Pettee of Rockland, Aaron Flynn of Warren, Brandon Flynn of Rockland,

David Flynn of Warren and Christopher Flynn of Texas.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the Rockville Cemetery,

Rockland Street in West Rockport at 2:00 p.m.
