On Friday, August 7th, 2020, Robert (Bob) Belsey, loving husband, father and grandfather passed peacefully at his home, at age 80. He leaves his wife of over 20 years; Aprial (April) Chantelle Belsey, His daughter, Emily Kaylee (William) Rose of Carlin, Nevada. His sons, Bradley John (Brianna) Meinen of Spring Creek, Nevada and Bobby Joe Rogers of New York; Sister, Paulette Dean of Dinuba California.

He is preceded by his parents Wallace Everett and Roberta Ann (Duncan) , his brother Wallace Everett Belsey Jr.

Bob married the love of his life, Aprial, on December 31st, 2000 at the Carlin First Baptist Church. Bob's grandchildren are his biggest accomplishment and joy; Krystyne Julieann, Maddox Wayne, Elizabeth Peyton, Abigail Harper, Nataleigh Chantelle, Warren Timothy, and Khloe Amirrah. He loved spending time with them.

In his early years, Bob worked as a Glaser in Denver, Colorado installing windows in the colloquially known as the "Cash Register" building. It is known today as the Wells Fargo Center. He moved to Nevada in 1975 and worked for Cortez Mining Company where he retired as a heavy equipment operator after 23 years. He loved to hunt. Bob had a passion for his "T-Bucket" hot rod and collecting Model Cars. He enjoyed working on guns and specialized in stock tooling, gun smithing, and custom silver smithing. He enjoyed camping and fishing with his family and friends, throwing darts and woodworking. He was a true craftsman and considered himself a Jack of all Trades, master of none. Robert always said "I lived a good life". Robert was jokester, "it's in the locker under B", Just ask his Wife about his bright green truck. He had an infectious laugh and smiled with his whole face.

Please join us in a celebration of life at the Carlin Chinese Gardens, Saturday August 22nd, 11:00 am, luncheon to follow.
