<p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Dominic Ladarius Lewis was born February 11, 1992 in Crossett, AR to Robert Lewis, Jr and Beverly C Turner. He departed this life on August 13, 2020 at Ashley County Medical Center Crossett, Arkansas due to gun violence. He attended Crossett High School and was a 2011&nbsp;graduate.&nbsp;<br /> Dominic known as Nick around the community, was a humble young man that believed family and friends came first. Nick loved to have fun and had a special bond with his sisters. He enjoyed video games, sports,&nbsp;and spending time with his children, nephews, nieces, and friends. He had a truly kind heart and quick wit about him and will be dearly missed.&nbsp;</span></span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Nick was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Robert &quot;Buddy&quot; Lewis. Sr., one uncle: Tyrone Lewis, maternal grandfather: John Willie Turner, maternal step-grandfather:&nbsp;Johnny Mack Brown, Sr., paternal great-grandparents: Laurene and Shadrick Mays, paternal great-grandparents Oscar and Odell Lewis, maternal great-grandparents: LV and Thurman Bradley and maternal great-grandfather:&nbsp;Willie Shaw.</span></span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Nick is lovingly remembered by his two daughters: Addyson Danielle Lewis and Kylee Alise Lewis of Crossett AR, his girlfriend: Kaleigh Shy&rsquo;on Gibbs and son Bryce Lewis; his mother and special friend: Beverly Turner and Mickey Reed of Crossett AR; his father and stepmother: Robert (Kyla} Lewis of Natchitoches, LA; Six sisters: Jasmine Turner and Shalandria Lewis, Brooklyn and Lakeisha Reed of Crossett. AR, Shelby Lewis of Searcy, AR, and Jasmine Hubbard of Monroe, LA; one brother: Jermical Hubbard of Alexander, LA; one niece: Indiya Smith and three nephews: Marquise Turner, Jace Gibbs and Jordan Smith all of Crossett, AR; paternal grandmother: Ardellia Mays and maternal grandmother: Willie J. Brown both of Crossett; five uncles: Stacy Lewis, Elroy Beverly, Dwayne (Shajuana) Brown, Burl (Becky) Shaw and John Turner, Jr; eight aunts: Dottie Taylor, Vanessa Shaw, Tamiko Gaston, Sharon Johnson, Janay (Joe Nathan) White, Shaneka (Charles) Canada, Angela Pittman and; Barbara Williams; a special friend and aunt Staci Cornelius and a host of other great-uncles, great aunts, cousins and friends.</span></span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 22, 2020, at the Westview&nbsp;Cemetery.</span></span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020, at the chapel from 12&nbsp;until 7 under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.</span></span></strong></p> <p><em><strong><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service is committed to helping families honor their loved ones in meaningful ways while ensuring the safety of their families and staff members. We will follow CDC and federal government precautions during this coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The Arkansas Department of Health has issued a new directive concerning indoor and outdoor funeral services.<br /> There will be only 50 people or less allowed indoors with no numerical limit on outdoor and graveside service. There is still a social distance of 6ft. Every other row inside the service should remain unoccupied and the family group should be 6ft apart from other family groups. EVERYONE IS REQUIRED TO WEAR FACE-COVERING. Dominic Ladarius Lewis was born February 11, 1992 in Crossett, AR to Robert Lewis, Jr and Beverly C Turner. He departed this life on August 13, 2020 at Ashley County Medical Center Crossett, Arkansas due to gun violence. He attended Crossett High School and was a 2011 graduate. 
Dominic known as Nick around the community, was a humble young man that believed family and friends came first. Nick loved to have fun and had a special bond with his sisters. He enjoyed video games, sports, and spending time with his children, nephews, nieces, and friends. He had a truly kind heart and quick wit about him and will be dearly missed.
