Lula Gail Payne, 62, of Ashland, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020.

Lula was born September 17, 1957 in Ashland, a daughter of the late Charles and Francis Blair Payne. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Henry Presley, her daughter Stephanie Dawn Catera and a sister Sheila Bontempo.

Lula was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her brothers Charles (Norma Gillum) Payne of Greenup, William (Dana) Payne of Ashland, John (Angie) Payne of Catlettsburg, Wayne (Lori) Malone of Catlettsburg, her grandsons she adored Jason Anders, Brandon Anders, great granddaughter Avery K. Anders, several nieces, nephews, extended family and good friends.

Graveside services will be held 1:00pm Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens. Chaplain Jimm Smedley will officiate.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:30am till 12:30pm at the Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel.
