<p><em><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">Born in Waterbury, CT on September 29, 1980, daughter of Maryellen (Morris) Severino and the late Fred Severino, Kristen passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at the age of 39.<br /> <br /> Kristen is also survived by her beloved daughter Mikayla Severino of East Hartford, CT, her uncle Rev. William T. Morris of New Jersey, and her brother Marc Severino of Watertown, CT. She will also be sorely missed by several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful friends. Kristen had a heart of gold and her memory will be cherished by every soul she touched. She was an avid cook and truly showed her love through her fabulous food. No one was ready to let Kristen go so soon, but we can take solace knowing she is once again together with her father.<br /> <br /> Cremation services have taken place and a memorial service to celebrate our dear Kristen will be held on Friday, August 21st at the Hickcox Funeral Home, at 195 Main Street Watertown, CT. Calling hours begin at 4:00 P.M. and end at 6:00 P.M. with a special service being officiated by Kristen's Uncle, Rev. William Morris, beginning at 5:30 P.M.<br /> <br /> The service will be COVID responsible with limited numbers of people in the building at a time, please wear a face covering and maintain social distance. Kristen's daughter, Mikayla, would like to request those who wish to visit calling hours to wear something purple as a tribute to her mother.</span></span></em></p>Obituary
