John F. Handrigan

John F. Handrigan, 59, of Woonsocket, RI, passed away on August 13, 2020, after an illness, at his residence. He was born in Pawtucket, RI, a son of the late John & Carmen (Bedard) Handrigan. John was an automotive technician and a self-employed baker specializing in making wedding cakes. He had a natural talent for cake decorating. He did attend Johnson & Wales University to learn more but he had skills that couldn't be taught. He lived and enjoyed camping during summer months at the Holiday Acres Camp Ground in North Scituate. Besides camping, he enjoyed baking and riding his motorcycle. He was a former Boy Scout Troop Leader in Burrillville. He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Mastrianni, his son-in-law Nathan Brown and his son, John Handrigan and his daughter in law Meggin Handrigan, grandchildren, Bradley, Julie, Matthew and Chandler. He is also survived by his sisters, Cindy Tanksley, Maureen Handrigan and Debbie Handrigan-Perrera and his friend and caretaker, Sean Hawkins. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield.
