<p>Mr. Karl W. Delk, 51 of Fayetteville, North Carolina transitioned from Earth to Glory on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina.&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;</p> <p>Arrangements are as follow:</p> <p>Viewing will be Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 3pm-6pm at the LE Floyd Funeral Home and the Homegoing Celebration will take place Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 12pm at Laurel Hill Missionary Baptist Church located on Purdie Road Lumber Bridge, North Carolina an burial to follow at Center Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Red Springs, North Carolina.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Karl Wesley Delk, born September 20, 1968 to Mary L. Handon and the late Freeland James Delk. He transitioned on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina.</p> <p>He grew up in and attended St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Shannon, North Carolina. He graduated from the Hoke County High School in Raeford, North Carolina in the graduating Class of 1986. He was employed by JP Stevens and Burlington Industries of Raeford, North Carolina until he became disabled.</p> <p>He was a devoted son whom cared for his mother even dealing with his own illness. He will truly be missed.</p> <p>Karl was preceded in death by his father, Freeland James Delk; a special nephew, Jereme D. Handon; and seven uncles: William Handon, Jr., James Handon, Modie Handon, Elijah Handon, Earl Handon, Moses Handon, and Fred Currie.</p> <p>He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving mother, Mary L. Handon of the home; his beautiful sister, Sandra (Calverette) McQueen of Lumber Bridge, North Carolina. One devoted and loving niece, La`Tesha Handon; an uncle, Eugene (Fay) Handon of Lumber Bridge, North Carolina; an aunt, Ethel B. Handon of Fort Washington, Maryland; a special friend, Annette Bolton of Fayetteville, North Carolina and a host of cousins and friends.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

Mr. Karl W. Delk, 51 of Fayetteville, North Carolina transitioned from Earth to Glory on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
