Trevor Korsberg Obituary

Trevor Korsberg age 53 years of Frontier, Saskatchewan died suddenly at his home on Thursday, August 13, 2020.   He was born at High River, Alberta on February 11, 1967, and received his education in Frontier and Swift Current. He worked at various jobs, working for an electrician, plumber, various farmers, and as a welder, spending the longest part of his working life at Honey Bee in Frontier. Trevor liked music, particularly any country music popular before 1955. He knew the words to every song, and loved to dance. He was always happiest when gathered with friends and would do anything for anyone. He loved fishing, mostly from the shore and was always wheeling and dealing. Trevor enjoyed camping and sitting around a big campfire. He loved anything little especially baby animals and children. He had a gift of gab and his family always thought he should have been a lawyer or a politician.   He is survived by his wife Valerie, his son Cody of Regina, grandson Dreton, Valerie’s children Michael Sherwin and James Sherwin, both of Saskatoon, his parents Orland and Gail Korsberg of Frontier, his sister Terri Heidinger (Kevin) of Red Deer, Alberta, three nieces Emily, Clare and Grace, one nephew Blake, all in Alberta, two aunts Sharon and Elizabeth and his uncle Larry.   A Graveside Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Frontier Municipal Cemetery at Frontier, with Funeral Celebrant Bernadette Schneider officiating. Binkley’s Funeral Service of Shaunavon (www.Binkleys.com) was in charge of the arrangements.   Pallbearers were Michael Sherwin, James Sherwin, Travis Palmer, Tom Lightfoot, Howard Groth and Tyson Nesland.
