Dylan Tyrell Arthur Lefthand Born in High River, AB, August 17, 2000 Passed away suddenly in Calgary, AB, August 7, 2020 at the age of 19 years old. He is predeceased by his parents Wilbert Lefthand and Melissa Crazy Bull; grandparents Percy Paul, Beverly Lefthand, Clement Drunken Chief and Yvonne Crazy Bull; great-grandparents John and Stella Crazy Bull, Wayne and Susan Lefthand. He will be lovingly remember by his sisters Evonie (Logan), Santana, Honor and Ayana; brothers Paetin and Xavier; uncles Pierre (Melvandra), Bradford (Sabrina), Owen (Heavenly); aunties April (Nathan), Chelsea (CJ), Belva; adopted grandma Sharon Big Plume and numerous extended family and friends. Dylan was well known in the Calgary community, he spent the last year of his life mostly living in the Calgary shelters, and during his time there he quickly captured the hearts of those he met and those who had the privilege to work with him. Dylan had a magnetic and youthful spirit that made it impossible to forget him. He was profoundly spiritual for his age and longed to understand himself in such challenging years of his life. Despite his hardships he always stayed connected to his heart and always managed to lift those around him. Dylan was a strikingly charming young man and could easily light up the room with his infectious smile and witty sense of humor. He loved to laugh, tease and make jokes. Even in the most professional and sombre situations there wasn’t a person Dylan couldn’t make laugh. For many who worked with Dylan, he was frequently the highlight of their day and they were always left with the feeling of his presence long after he had gone. Dylan’s passing has left a huge hole in the Calgary community that will never be replaced and he will be deeply missed by so many. Wake services will be at the residence of Owen Lefthand Thursday August 13 and Friday August 14 at Eden Valley, AB. Funeral Service will be held at Eden Valley at the Community Church on Saturday August 15, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.
