Ludowici – Hilda Jane (Sallette) Billings, 78, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020 at her home under the care of her family and GHC Hospice.  She was born in Long County and lived there most of her life.  She was a retired food service manager and had managed the Franklinia Restaurant in Ludowici many years.  She was a member of Order of Eastern Star and enjoyed participating in its services.  She enjoyed crocheting, had mastered the art of needlepoint and cherished time spent with family.  She was a member of Ludowici First United Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir.  She was preceded in death by two sons, Jimmy Nance and Robert Nance.

Survivors are her husband, Charles Billings of Ludowici; son and daughter-in-law, Leon and Melissa Nance of Loganville; sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Ricky Murray of Hilton Head Island, SC; aunt, Carolyn Mock of Ludowici; extended family; niece, April Murray and nephew, Rich Murray; cousins, Debbie Long, Leon Gordon, Susan Horne, Pam Poole, Danny Moore, Steven Moore, and Andy Mock.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 16 at 4 PM at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Libby Gardner officiating. 

Burial will follow in Jesup City Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the chapel.
