Rochester/Sodus: age 86, passed away on August 13, 2020 at the Sodus Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Mary was the daughter of the late Beverly and Ludwig Metz. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Silvia Metz and Sandra Harris; daughter, Phyllis Ange; and son-in-law, Gary Ange. Mary is survived by her grandsons, Steven (Stephanie) Ange, Robert Ange, Michael Ange, Gary Ange and Jeffery Ange; and grandchildren, Cameron Smith, Christina Ange, Hunter Ange, Aurora Ange and Harley Ange. Mary was an avid reader and movie watcher. She enjoyed coloring, playing cards and had a great love of literature. Most will remember her for her bluntness, love of animals, love of family and her great tales of the past. At the family’s request there will be no calling hours or services.
