Steven Phillip Ferry

Steven Phillip Ferry, 71 of Peoria, AZ passed away on August 9, 2020. He was born on June 11,1949 in Oregon City, OR to Dallas K. Ferry and Ellen Cecelia Erickson. He grew up in Oregon & Virginia. Steve Graduated from high school in Virginia and later took courses at Clackamas Community College and Mt Hood Community College in Oregon. While in Virginia he worked at the Capitol in Washington, DC repairing office machines. He was a licensed general contractor in Oregon constructing residential and commercial buildings from 1977-1984. He became a licensed electrical contractor and worked for Sunnyside Security Systems in Oregon from 1984-1986 and left to start his own business, Columbia Security Systems in Portland Oregon from 1986-2000 Steve and his wife, Carol moved to Arizona in 2000. From 2002-2020 he worked as General Manager at Adobe Home Systems in Phoenix, AZ. Steve was an Avid private pilot with commercial and instrument ratings. Loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle with his wife riding on the back. Enthusiastic traveler in the recently purchased motor home. Lifelong musician. He had a passion for woodworking and made beautiful pieces of furniture. He was a member of Aircraft Owners Pilots Assoc, QB, Mooney Aircraft Pilots Assoc, Harley Owners Group; past member Oregon Pilots Assoc, Oregon Burglar and Fire Alarm Assoc, Independent Electrical Contractors of Oregon. Steve is survived by his wife, Carol, daughter: Dena Brandenburger, Step Son: Brian (MaryKay) Mohr and Step Daughter: Krista Milne, Grandchildren: Mackenzie Brandenburger, Madison Brandenburger, Summer Coburn, Savanah Mohr, Lauren Milne. Siblings: Jackie McDaniel, Bonnie Anderson, Penny Rybloom, Max Ferry. Brother-in-law: Robert Owen (Sharon) and numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins and his beloved dog: Cody.
