Marilyn Joyce Cuscaden, age 89, of St. Charles, formerly a long time resident of Geneva, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Brighton Gardens Assisted Living in St. Charles.

She was born January 8, 1931 in Neligh, Nebraska, the daughter of Roy and Irene (Ruegge) Richardson.

Marilyn worked as a reading tutor with the Geneva Reading Program for many years.  She loved spending time with her friends and family, she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children Scott of Columbia, MO, Douglas (Colleen) of Geneva, Bruce Alan (Lisa) of Chicago, and Cynthia (James) Sheppard of St. Charles; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother DeWayne (Chris)  Richardson of Costa Rica; and many other dear relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant brother Thomas, and loving husband Robin who passed away in 2005 after 54 years of marriage.

Services and inurnment for Marilyn will be held at a later date at the First Congregational Church of Geneva.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Anderson Animal Shelter, 1000 S. La Fox Street, South Elgin, Illinois 60177 would be appreciated.
