DANISHA MARIE WESLEY STEWART And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Colossians 3:23 Danisha Marie Wesley Stewart departed this life on Friday, August 7, 2020 at her home in Dorseyville, Louisiana. Dino, as she was affectionately called, was born October 29, 1959, to the late Arthur Wesley and Bernice Jackson Wesley. She was baptized at an early age. She served at the Point Pleasant Baptist Church under Rev. Carter for many years and later joined the St. John the Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Gregory Coates. Danisha was educated in the Iberville Parish School System where she graduated from White Castle High School in 1979. Danisha loved to cook and as such her career path was in the food preparation and service arena. She catered numerous events in and around the community. Danisha was employed with the Iberville Parish School System as a certified School Food Service Manager. She excelled every day by demonstrating diligence and performing her tasks with excellence. If you ask any of her co-workers, they would have to say that she attended to business with precision and with a sense of pride and professionalism. Danisha knew how to relate to any and every one and handled all who came in contact with her, with love and respect. She was the best. Danisha was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur & Bernice Wesley; son, Kendall Wesley, grandparents, Richard & Rosa Jackson; sisters, Rosie Wesley, Mary Alice Wesley Osborne, Gladys Wesley Bazile and Betty Wesley Lee; brothers, Eldric Wesley and William James Wesley; nephews, Jerome Wesley, Demetri Bazile and Vernon Wesley; nieces, Alexis Wesley and Lakeesha Jackson She leaves to cherish her memories, husband, Alex Stewart; children, Roshawn Wesley, Imani Wesley and Kaila Stewart; grandchildren, Aiden, Ahmad and Iyana King; 1 honorary grandchild Ja’Dyn Jones; sisters; Rosa Wesley (Robert), Sharon Wesley (Glynn), Ingrid W. McCoy (Frank), Deidra W. Green (Farrel), Carla Wesley, Antonio W. Scott (Anthony) & Kathy W.
