Gary Francis Gaudet Obituary

Gary Francis Gaudet, 45, of Chester Vermont, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday August 6th.

Gary was born in Lawrence, MA and lived most of his life in the city of Methuen. He recently relocated to Vermont with his wife of 20 years, Deirdre, and their children. He lived life every day to its fullest. He will be remembered for how greatly invested he was in his family and friends, as well as his will and dedication to helping those in need. He was cherished by his family, loved deeply by his children, and took great pride in being a godfather. Gary loved spending time in the White Mountains and going on animal rides. He was very passionate about dogs and cared for all animals. Boating, fishing, and riding motorcycles were just a few of the activities he enjoyed. He loved fast cars and had an incredibly amazing talent for auto mechanics that inspired many to follow in his footsteps. He is gone but never forgotten and will be loved and missed by many.

Gary leaves behind his loving wife Deirdre Gaudet of VT, his 6 children:  (s) Tyler Gaudet and his wife Aaliyah of Methuen, (s) Joseph Gaudet of VT,  (d) Kaitlyn Gaudet of Methuen, (d) Starr Gaudet of VT, (s) Gary Gaudet Jr. of VT, and (d) Dehlia Gaudet of VT. He is also survived by his parents Nancy (Bova) and Peter Gaudet of Methuen, his maternal grandmother Virginia Bova of Methuen, paternal grandfather Timothy Parent of Rumford Maine, sisters Charlene (Gaudet) and her husband Joshua Roux of Barnstead NH and Diane (Gaudet) and her husband John Bruno of Methuen, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Gary is predeceased by his maternal grandfather Edmond Bova Sr, and his paternal grandparents Peter Gaudet Sr. and Jacqueline (Arsenault – Gaudet) Parent.

If you became a friend to Gary, you became his family.
