Paul Timothy Bamber Obituary

Paul Timothy Bamber was born on November 17th, 1948 to parents Ernie and Carrie Bamber.  He was the only child and was born in Edmonton, Alberta.  Paul worked in the finance field in various cities and later managed a McDonald’s restaurant in North Battleford. But his main passion was pastoring and studying eschatology (end times).  He pastored at Turtle Lake Mission, Regina Foursquare church, North Battleford Foursquare church and later on, an outreach in North Battleford. He also served as the unit supervisor for the Saskatchewan/Manitoba unit.  He was a mentor to many.  It was common to find him on the phone talking/ counselling friends and upcoming pastors.  If you wanted someone praying for you, he was the guy.  He took it seriously and kept lists for that specific reason.  Earlier on in his life his loves included football and his interests turned to hunting and guns, any kind of gun. He enjoyed spending time chatting with friends and family.  He loved cooking and you never had a steak until you tasted one of his 1 inch thick t-bones fresh off the barbecue.  When he ran the butcher shop in Livelong he also made buckets of Chester Fried Chicken and wedgies that many enjoyed.
He was an uncle to many and leaves to mourn numerous cousins,  nieces and nephews.  He was unofficially adopted into a family who lived life with him and shared many family moments together.  The ‘fake’ Uncle Paul will be missed greatly by Dan, Judy, Brook(Keshia), Amanda, Kimberley and Kaitlyn with great ‘nephews’ Avram and Ezekiel.  So today we say goodbye to a man who loved, and was loved.  Who gave generously and lived his life striving to get closer to his Heavenly Father whom he adored.   We know it was tough at the end but your reward is great and we rejoice with you that the pain is over and the party has started.  Life is better having known you.
