Evelyn Williams Sorelle Obituary

Mae Evelyn Hailey Williams SoRelle, 89, passed from this world on August 7, 2020 with her husband, Charles Otto by her side. She is survived by her four children Deborah Williams Youngblood, Michael Lee Williams, Cynthia Williams, Kelley Williams Worthy, and her grandchildren Clinton Robert Fitch III, Nicole Fitch Crawford, Courtney Combs de la Cruz, Michelle Williams Henry, Lisa Marie Williams Smith, Amanda Worthy, Matthew Worthy and her sister Carolyn Hailey Boles. Evelyn, as she was known to family and close friends, was born in Bardwell, Texas and was preceded in death by Marvin Levi Williams (husband), Norman SoRelle (husband), her sister, Mary Hailey Ramsey, and brother, Ralph Hailey. Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved her family dearly and was always thinking more about helping and aiding others more than herself. She was the model of a good Christian woman. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Manassas, Virginia. Evelyn loved to sew in her early years, was a lifetime fan of the Dallas Cowboys, and enjoyed country music. Her favorite hymn was "In The Garden". Pink and purple were her favorite colors, and her favorite flower was the daisy. She loved movies such as Magnificent Obsession, Gone With The Wind, From the Terrace, and McClintock! She had the privilege of living in many different locations, including Hawaii, during her lifetime. Evelyn was loved by everyone and will be missed. Family and Friends will gather to celebrate her life at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 15, 2020 for a Graveside service in the Andrews West Cemetery with Minister Greg Fleming officiating.
