Matthew Lamar Cook was born on November 30, 2006 as one of two twins to Racheal Jenkins and Steve Cook.

Matthew was educated in the Alachua County Public School System and was most recently promoted at Howard Bishop Middle School. His education fostered a love of learning new things, as well as a love for his many friends throughout.
The Social Life Of A Prince
As gifted as he was academically, Matthew had a close bond with the community. He loved spending time with his friends and family, making others smile and always joking around.
The Passing Of A Prince
Matthew entered in to thy master’s joy on Sunday, August 9, 2020. He has now joined his brother Ethan Jenkins in the heavenly playground.

Matthew leaves everlasting memories to his joyous and loving family. His parents: Racheal Jenkins and Stevie Cooks Sr. A twin sister: Lamarra Cook. Siblings: Eugene Jackson II and Kyanda Mosley. His additional siblings: Stevie Cook Jr, Crystal Cook, Latoya Cook and Kwamaine Cook. Grandparents: Lue Ann Jenkins, Harry Blocker, David Lee Cobbs, Darlene Burkett (Andrew). Aunts & Uncles: Andrea Jenkins, La’Var Thompson, Tamarra Jenkins, Micah Jenkins, Felicia Seibert (Samuel), Alberta Blocker, Jared Blocker, Morgan Blocker, Arick Burkett, Erick Burkett, La’Tonya Burkett, La’Sonya Burkett, Stacey Thomas, Ray Latson, Shantell Burkett, Angela Burkett, Lawanna Cook Johnson and Nikkie Hampton. In addition to a host of cousins and sorrowing friends.
