Mary Ann (Boulds) Riecken, 87, of Elberfeld, Indiana, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. Mary Ann was born in Equality, Illinois on December 26, 1932 to the late Roy and Threasa (Wargel) Boulds. Mary Ann was a devoted member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and St. Ann's Altar Society. She was also a lifetime member of the VFW Post #114. In her free time, Mary Ann loved to play bingo, clabber, and quilt. Above all else, she loved her family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. Mary Ann is survived by her daughters, Bev Dauby (Ken) of Santa Claus, IN, Sandra Riecken of Elberfeld, IN, and Tammy Qualls (Ken) of Evansville, IN; sons, Rodney Riecken (Brenda) of Wadesville, IN, Gary Riecken (Rhonda), Randy Riecken (Belinda), and Tim Riecken (Rhonda), all of Elberfeld, IN; sister, Loretta Masulla; 16 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Frank Riecken; her parents; sisters, Anna Marie Hobbs, Bernice Drone, and Sarah Fromm; and brothers, Simon, Lawrence, Bill, Ed, and Jim Boulds. A private service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 5301 Daylight Drive, Evansville, IN 47725, with Father Chris Forler officiating.
