Mrs. Ruby Lee Butts, 95, of Batesville, MS, was born on October 18, 1924, and went home to be with the Lord on August 7, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James Butts, and is survived by her four children, James Lee Butts, Betty Sue Hopper, Leslye Powell Butts, and Donna Lynn Carnes; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She and James were active members of First Baptist Church in Batesville for many years. God created in Ruby the heart of a servant, and she devoted her life to loving and serving her family and others. She treasured her children and grandchildren and especially loved her role as Mamaw. Her legacy of love and stewardship will never be forgotten. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at 12:00 pm in Rose Hill Cemetery in Sardis with Rev. Tommy Snyder officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Dickins Funeral Home.
