Mrs. Vinson went to be with Her Lord and Savior at home on August 8, 2020. She was born on Crow Mountain in Russellville, AR on May 16, 1929 to Dewey and Leola Morphis. She married Martin Vinson in 1948 and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and sister. She served as a Nursery Worker for Southside Baptist Church for 29 years. She enjoyed taking care of her family, making quilts, and loved going to church. She was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church until she moved to Woodlawn and then to Jefferson where she joined River Road Baptist Church in Redfield. She was loved by everyone who knew her.


She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson: Marty Wilson, Sr., sisters: Martha Freeman, and Anita Sanders.


She is survived by daughters Cathy McBurnett (Ray) of Jefferson, Judy Barnett (Odis) of Woodlawn, and one sister Bonnie Magness (Joe) of Benton. She has 3 grandchildren: Amy Harper (Chris), Vinson Barnett (Brandy), April Adams, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.


The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel with Bro. Shelby Andre officiating. Burial will be in Bellwood Cemetery.
