In Loving Memory of Samantha Lindquist nee Downard of Carnarvon, Ontario who passed away unexpectedly as a result of a tragic motor vehicle accident on Tuesday, August 4th, 2020. Samantha was born on December 30th, 1969 in Orillia, Ontario. Loving & devoted wife, partner in crime and best friend to Jason Lindquist. Proud and loving mom of Connor, Lily and Jackson. Caring, loving and supportive step-mom to George (Allie) and Brandon (Karly). Cherished grandmother to Abigail and Emma. Samantha is also survived by sisters Andrea (John) and Melissa. Dear sister in law to Sherri (Michael), Tiffany (Mark) and David. Samantha loved all of her nieces and nephews and will miss them all dearly; Zack, Jezel, Ally, Josh, Kyle, Krissy & Leah. Samantha is also survived by Jason’s Aunt Doreen who was a very important part of her life. She is predeceased by her parent’s David and Sharon Downard, mother and father in law Sharon and Tom, brother in law Donald and her Aunt Doreen’s late husband Bruce. Samantha loved all of her friends and family and has left a void in many hearts and will be missed by all who knew her especially her best friends Tracey, Steven (Scooba), and Samantha, Jenn (Mark) and little Kenny and Kerry. She will also be dearly missed by her furry family members especially Gusman and Tucker. Samantha was an amazing person, talented with anything and everything she set out to do, always leading with an entrepreneurial mindset. She was an avid gardener, loving her plants and flowers and would give you a quick tutorial on when/how/what to plant at any given opportunity. She loved her Harley Davidson (Beastie) and spent many days riding with her husband and all of their extended family in the MC world. Samantha loved her many trips to Jamaica spending some quality time with her husband and friends who will also miss her dearly especially Omar and Kamal. Samantha grew up with her parents owning Buckslide Tent & Trailer Park in Carnarvon, ON and ended up raising her own family there. Samantha and Jason have lived at and managed the park for the new owner (Kevin) for the past 17 years. The love, memories made and time spent together with her Buckslide family will be fondly remembered for years to come. A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Samantha's Life will be held at the Buckslide Tent and Trailer Park on a date and time to be announced. Cremation has taken place.
