Passed peacefully away on August 8, 2020 Jean Harfitt of Lewin's Cove at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories husband Sherman; sons Glenn (Michelle) of Lewin's Cove, and Rod (Laura) of Lewin's Cove; grandchildren Terri-Lynn (Jake), Greg (Kayla), Wayne (Samantha), Andrew (Melissa) and Hayley; great grandchildren Parker, Zachary, Tegan, Conor and Nate; sisters Sadie (Lloyd), Margaret, Bernice(Bill) and Joan; brothers Lloyd (Meta), Gerald (Lily), Herb (Cora), Jim (Doris), Victor and Onslow plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by parents William and Ethel Day son Todd. Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin in keeping with Covid-19 restrictions a walk-thru visitation will take place Tuesday, August 11th at 2-4PM and 7-9PM. A private family service will be held at Serenity Chapel on Wednesday, August 12th at 2PM interment following at Hope United Cemetery, Lewin's Cove.
