Jimmy Lee Fowler age 77 died Friday August 7, 2020 in Burnsville, NC. Born in Marion County, SC, he was the son of the late Sam Hartford Fowler and Alma Virginia Avant Fowler.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by one son, James Christopher Fowler and wife Wendy of Tabor City, NC. Two brothers, Eddie Fowler of Aberdeen, NC, Graylan Fowler of Tabor City, NC and one sister, Tammy Fowler of Tabor City, two grandchildren: Delayne Fowler and Haley Fowler.   

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Turbeville Fowler, two brothers, Jerry Fowler, David Earl Fowler.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the Inman Ward Funeral Home & Crematory.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 12, 2020 at 10:00AM in the Gapway Baptist Church with burial to follow in Gapway Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Gapway Baptist Church 939 Gapway Church Rd. Tabor City, NC 28463
