<p>Bradley Dean Lance, age 60, died August 6, 2020 at his home in Paradise Valley, AZ with his wife and sons at his side.</p> <p>Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church, Scottsdale, AZ, on Thursday, August 13, 2020. Burial will take place at Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato, MN at a later date.</p> <p>Brad was born on July 3, 1960, to Glenn and Sondra (Cox) Harrington in North Kansas City, MO. He grew up in San Diego, where he graduated from Granite Hills High School and surfed South Mission Jetty and Sunset Cliffs. He earned a degree in Economics from University of Denver, and his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law. Brad started his legal career in Chicago&nbsp;before moving with his family to Minnesota in 1992.</p> <p>Brad married Jean Fitterer on September 2, 1989&nbsp;at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato, MN. Brad and Jean&rsquo;s boys meant the world to him, and being their dad was the highlight of his life. His sons will always cherish memories of Brad&rsquo;s humor and the time they spent together on road trips and at sporting events.</p> <p>Brad is especially remembered for his love of family, adventurous spirit, and generosity. He had a profound impact on his nieces and nephews, many of whom look at him as a second father figure due to his caring and genuine interest in their lives. He was an avid runner who completed several marathons, running his favorite race in 2018 through the vineyards of Savigny-l&egrave;s-Beaune, France. Brad&rsquo;s life became complete when the University of Denver hockey team won a national title in 2004; his next 16 years (which included two more DU national titles) were icing on the cake.</p> <p>Brad is lovingly survived by his wife Jean; sons Joe, Robert and John; father Glenn (Crys) Harrington; sisters Staci (Jim) Talkington and Lorinda (Don) James; brothers Brett (Sondra) Harrington and Kirk (Erin) Harrington; Jean&rsquo;s sisters Cynthia (Gary) Amoroso and Lisa (Eric) Johnson; and sister-in-law Patty Harrington. He will be dearly missed by his beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Sondra, infant son Patrick, brother Glenn, and sister Michelle.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

Brad was born on July 3, 1960, to Glenn and Sondra (Cox) Harrington in North Kansas City, MO.
