(Lorraine Fant) Betty Lorraine Ayers Fant, 82, wife of Ray Fant of Townville, SC, died Friday, August 7, 2020 at her residence. Born in Franklin County, GA on April 11, 1938, she was a daughter of the late William Conrad Ayers and the late Davalene Westbrook Buchanan. She was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church in Townville where she was known as a faithful member and prayer warrior. She is survived by her husband Ray Fant, daughter, Carol Suttles (Johnny), step-sons, Stephen Fant (Pam) and Timothy Fant, 4 grand children and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Donna Morgan (Doyle) and her brother Douglas Ayers (Mary). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James “Jimmy” Dyar and a step daughter, Susan Bird. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Oakdale Baptist Church 6724 SC Hwy 24 Townville, SC 29689. Rev. David Blizzard will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church sanctuary one hour prior to the service from 1:00pm – 2:00 pm.
