Funeral Mass for Regina “Reggie” Obritsch, 93, of Las Vegas, NV, formerly of Dickinson, ND and Auburn, WA, will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Keith Streifel celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in South Heart. Visitation for Reggie will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2020 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with a rosary at 6:00. Reggie passed away Friday, August 7, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Regina was born in Dickinson on September 25, 1926, the daughter to Louis and Mary (Roller) Splichal. As a young girl, she attended South Heart High School. Reggie married John Obritsch on January 24, 1946. Their marriage was blessed with five children. In 1968, Reggie moved to Auburn, WA with her three youngest children. She had experienced much heartache early on, in the loss of her husband in 1963 and her first born child in 1968. Reggie enjoyed a long career at the Kent Post Office before retiring in 1992. Her desire for home brought her back to her beloved Dickinson, North Dakota, settling in 2000. Las Vegas became her final home in 2014 when she moved to be closer to her family. Regina is survived by her children, Arnold (Maureen) of Las Vegas, NV, Carrie (Michael) Vaughn of Las Vegas, NV, Bert (Sharon) Obritsch of Auburn, WA, Donald (Nicola Vitkovich) Obritsch; grandchildren, Patrick (Lisa) Vaughn, George (Jen) Obritsch, Elizabeth Obritsch, Gwen (Peter) Ellis, Nicole (Brian Boydstun) Obritsch; great-grandchildren, Savannah and Olivia Vaughn, Olive and Ruby Obritsch, Kane, Brooks, and Blake Ellis; brother, Clem (Mary Ann) Splichal; brother-in-law, Laudie Simek. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Mary Splichal; husband, John Obritsch (1963); daughter, Patricia (1968); brothers, Valentine (Elaine), Louie (Donna), Peter, Philip; sisters, Mary Ann Simek, Anna, Rose, Philopina, Paulina, Christina, Margaret.
