Anna Merrell Givens, age 88, passed away August 7, 2020. She was born in St. Clair, Alabama and after many years raising a family in Alaska, she settled down in East Ridge, Tennessee. Ms. Givens greatly enjoyed crafts and had a talent for working with Alaska clay. She was a loving mother, grandmother and will be dearly missed.     

She is preceded in death by her son, Jerry Givens; parents, Alice and Alvin Hollis; and eleven brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Michael Givens; grandchildren, Steven (Ashley Phillips) Givens and Daniel Givens; great granddaughters, Phoenix and Alanna Givens; sister, Mary Kilgoar; numerous other relatives and friends.

The Visitation for Anna Givens will be Monday, August 10, 2020 at Spring Creek Church of God in East Ridge, Tennessee from 12:00 PM until the Funeral Service begins at 1:00 PM with Bro. Bennie Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Wood Memorial Gardens cemetery in Rossville, Georgia.
