When the morning came… “Our Brother Danny left this world peacefully” on Friday, August 7, 2020. 

Dannie Ray Winrow was born to Thurman and Thelma (Rivers) Winrow, on Tuesday, May 10, 1955 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 

At an early age he attended N.C.I. (Nashville Christian Institute) in Tennessee, later finishing his education in the Shawnee Schools District. 

He was a baptized member of Bell and Farrall Street, Church of Christ in Shawnee, Oklahoma. 

Bro. Danny was preceded in death by his wife, Princess (Land); his father, Thurman Winrow; step-father, Alvin Jackson; grandparents, Jackson and Beulah Winrow and Willie and Lillian Rivers; brothers, Thurman L. Winrow and Tommy Brown; extended family members, Brenda Banks, James C. Jackson, Gladys “Gina” Jackson, and Vivian White. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Thelma Jackson; brothers, Robert Earl Winrow, Denver, CO, Kenneth Winrow of Shawnee, OK, Dr. DeWayne (Margaret) Winrow of Granada Hills, CA, Dr. Ervin (Jacquline) Jackson of Fort Pierce, FL, Lester (Tricia) Winrow of Gainesville, VA; sisters,  Annette McNeil of Oklahoma City, OK, Glenda (Ernest) Franklin of Springer, OK, Reujena Winrow of Shawnee, OK, Diane Morris of Ada, OK, Sharron Knighton of Wewoka, OK and Chris Statum of Oklahoma City, OK; extended family, Melvin Jackson, Hattie Carr, Vera Myers and Maurice Jackson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. 

Visitation will from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 13, 2020 and from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 14, 2020.  Graveside Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 14, 2020 at Earlsboro Cemetery with his brothers, Dr. DeWayne Winrow and Dr. Ervin Jackson officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.   

Temptation hidden snares, often take us unawares, and our Hearts are made to bleed for its thoughtless work or deed; and we wonder why the test, when we try to do our best…We will understand it better by and by…When the Morning Comes.
