<p>Mr. Timothy Snyder, 42, of Angier, passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on Friday, August 07, 2020. Tim was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan in 1977 and moved to North Carolina in 1981. He attended school at Shawtown, Lillington Middle and Harnett Central where he met some life long friends. Tim worked at Edwards Brothers in Lillington and Michigan where he met good friends along with the love of his life, Kim.</p> <p>Tim&rsquo;s hobbies included playing baseball, soccer, football, wrestling and martial arts. He loved to ride his motorcycle, grilling and hanging with friends. He enjoyed playing golf and the extreme danger of white water rafting.</p> <p>Tim enjoyed spending holidays and special occasions with family having a drink and a laugh. He was happiest at home petting and hanging with his wife and fur babies.</p> <p>Tim took time to stay connected with friends. He never knew a stranger and was easy to talk with. He was true to himself and never put on airs for anyone. People were drawn to him. He was probably the most honest person you knew whether you liked it or not.</p> <p>He was a warrior when it came to cancer. His first battle was when he was 5 and with modern medicine and the hand of God he was able to beat it. In 2012, a more aggressive cancer hit him and he gave it a good fight. Through it all he never lost his sense of humor or love of life. Tim did not let the cancer define him or guide him. He took one day at a time.</p> <p>He is loved by so many and will be greatly missed.</p> <p>A Celebration of Tim&#39;s Life will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Paisley Barn, 7585 Old Fairground&nbsp;Rd., Benson, NC 27504 with a meal to follow.&nbsp;The family has requested everyone in attendance wear casual attire.&nbsp;</p> <p>In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the family&nbsp;requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.&nbsp;</p> <p>He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Kim Snyder; daughter, Christina Erickson (Ed) of Ypsilanti, Michigan; granddaughter, Ava; parents, Gary and Karen McFadden of Lillington; two brothers, Glenn McFadden (Lisa) of Lillington and Mike McFadden (Michelle) of Michigan; and sister, Jennifer Cuik (Darren) of Michigan; biological father, Tim Snyder of Michigan; and a multitude of nieces and nephews; 2 fur babies, Sierra and Mya.</p> <p>Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 8300 Health Park, Suite 10,&nbsp;Raleigh, NC 27615</p>
