Murline Wesson, 73, of Harrisburg, Arkansas passed from this life Thursday at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born October 5, 1946 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas the daughter of Lee and Pansy (Melton) Smith. Murline married Calvin Wesson on November 4, 1965 in Black Oak, Arkansas and they enjoyed fifty-four years before his passing January 24, 2020. Murline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Calvin Wesson, brothers: Harold Lee and Preston Smith, sister, Darlene Son, two grandchildren: Dayton and Jordan Lambright. She was a member of Church of God of Prophecy. Murline never met a stranger, loved singing and talking, and was known to be a lady of great faith. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is survived by daughters: Sherry (Don) Lambright and Sandy (Henry) Hodges, brother, Doris Smith of Marked Tree, sister, Dathine Jones of Tyronza, 7 grandchildren: Wade Lambright, Lacey Lambright, Delaney Lambright, Marvin Furrow, Desaray Price, Heather Hodges, and Dallas Hodges, and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 P. M. @ Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg with Visitation Sunday from 6:00 ~ 8:00. Pastor Patrick Tucker will conduct the service with these men serving as active pallbearers: Terry Munger, Patrick Boyd, Josh Boyd, Rich Bergener, Kenneth Bass, Chris Smith, and Jonathan Carroll. Interment will be in Tyronza Cemetery. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home.
