<p>Simeon Kiriacopoulos of 41 Ash Avenue Cranston, Rhode Island passed away at the age of 69, peacefully in his home. He had his first attack back in February of this year, then May 8th, he passed away from his final heart attack. Simos, was another name for him. In 2002, he opened his auto shop in East Providence. He named it J &amp; S Auto Care, he named for him and his youngest daughter, Janice. He ran it for 13 years; he closed the doors in 2016. When Simos passed away, he was not married. But he was happily dating Athina Nika. Athina lives in Greece, they had plans for Athina to come here and live. Simeon Kiriacopoulos was born in Athens, Greece. Simos has one brother named Stavros Kiriacos and one sister in law named Flo Kiriacos. He was the youngest son of Efthimios Kiriacopoulos, and his mother was Ioanna Hatinougiou (Kiriacopoulos). When Simos first moved to the US, he lived in Massachusetts with his brother. Then, he moved to Lincoln, Rhode Island, where he rented the Getty Station. After a few years he moved to Pawtucket and finally to Cranston where he spent his life with his 2 daughters until he passed away. Simos leaves two daughters, Janice Chapasko , Joanna Kiriacopoulos. son in law Ryan Chapasko his two grandchildren Jason Todd Chapasko and his granddaughter Aurora Riley Chapasko, he was unable to meet her at birth but was there in spirit.&nbsp; He has one living brother, Stavros Kiriacos and his sister in law, Flo Kiriacos. He also has one niece Stephanie Noyes and her two sons, Ethan and Drew. Simos made many friends throughout the years, including Clyde Brizio and his wife, Grace Luis; Socrates Zafiriades and his family, including his wife Eleni Ziaka and their son Socrates Zafiriades Jr. More of his friends include best friend and confidant Sandy Clifford DeFrias; Lona Hoffman, Robin Medeiros Bothelo, his friend of over 40 years, Kiriacos Spanos and his wife Cheryl Spanos, just to name a few. Simos had a passion for working on cars and there was nothing that could stop him from his work. His favorite car was an Alfa Romeo. But his real love, besides his daughters was the ocean. Simos had a boat, which he docked at Jim&rsquo;s Dock every summer. Every year, Simos and his daughters would go to Jim&rsquo;s Dock and spend the weekends fishing and going to Block Island. He named the boat &ldquo;The Double JK&rdquo;. He was also part of the Masonic Temple for a few years. Simeon Kiriacopoulos will be greatly missed by his daughters, family and his friends. His funeral was held on May 15th, 2020, he was buried at River Bend Cemetery Section 86, Grave 98 in Westerly, RI. Due to COVID, we plan on having a celebration of life at a later date.</p>
