<p>Thorpe, James LeRoy age 84 of Monticello, passed away on Friday August 7, 2020 at CentraCare Health in Monticello.&nbsp; He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Barbara; children Kim (Vern) Garberich, Linda (Dan) Elstad, Cindy (Brian) Pemberton all of Monticello; grandchildren Jamie (Michael) Ludwig, Michael (Alison) Garberich, Brent (Brienne) Elstad, Derek Elstad, Alec Pemberton, Preston Pemberton; great grandchildren Caleb Ludwig, Carson Elstad, Jameson Elstad, Jackson Elstad.&nbsp; James was a millworker and later retired as a custodian with the Monticello School District.&nbsp; He loved being with his family, hunting, fishing, new cars, and traveling to Canal Park in Duluth.&nbsp;</p> <p>Due to COVID 19 restrictions, services will be private for the immediate family.&nbsp;</p>

Obituary
