Carolyn Lee Hilz, age 73, of Caddo Mills passed away on Thursday Morning, August 6, 2020. Carolyn was born on July 17, 1947 in Lexington, North Carolina, the daughter of James A. Kimbrell and Lois L. Cross. Carolyn married Jimmie Ray Hilz in Mesquite, Texas on April 1, 1977. Carolyn was an active member of New Life Family Fellowship in Caddo Mills, Texas.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Jimmie; sons, Phillip Bockemehl of Caddo Mills, Jimmie Hilz Jr. of Caddo Mills, Michael Hilz of Caddo Mills; 5 grandchildren; and numerous friends, and family.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother, Lois; stepfather, Monroe Lee; and brother, Charles Kimbrell.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday, August 10, 2020 at Peters Funeral Home.
