Kaylee L. Lyons, 23, of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2020 at Penn State Hershey Hospital. She was born August 22, 1996 in Portsmouth, VA to Temonia B. Thomas and Bettina L. Lyons. Kaylee was a very passionate woman who put all of herself into everything she did. She especially loved being a mother and loved her son Royce. Kaylee graduated from Carlisle Area High School in 2014 and later attended HACC. When she started working at North Dickinson Elementary School Kaylee found her calling. Kaylee is survived by her son, Royce L. Anderson of Carlisle; four siblings, Temonia Thomas Jr. of Virginia, Daquan Thomas of Maryland, Camryn Lilly of Carlisle, and Aaliyah Thomas of Florida; one nephew, Israel Thomas; her paternal grandmother, Elizabeth; and her maternal grandmother, Bonnie. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Ronald and her aunt, Amanda Lyons. A vigil service in remembrance of Kaylee will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at the Carlisle Town Square, intersection of Hanover and High Streets in Carlisle, PA. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
